Additional Fee Information

  • Therapy is an investment of your time, energy, and money. Choosing to invest in therapy is investing in your potential for growth, healing, and connection that can greatly change your life. The cost of your session also goes towards the cost of maintaining my professional standing, staying up to date with research and training, and other expenses related to running a business and creating a comfortable therapeutic space.

  • I do not accept insurance but am happy to provide you with a superbill so that you can seek reimbursement with your insurance company. All insurance companies and policies are different in their approach to reimbursement for out of network therapeutic services, so I would recommend giving your insurance company a call to ask about what your benefits are. If you have any questions let me know and we can chat through the process together.

  • Payment is collected electronically at the end of our sessions. I accept all major credit/debit cards, including HSA/FSA cards. I require all clients to have a payment method stored electronically through my secure HIPAA compliant medical records system, which allows for ease of payment collection and thus, more time for therapeutic work.

  • Life happens and canceling or rescheduling is normal in the course of therapy. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. If cancellations occur within a 24 hour window of the session or you do not attend a scheduled session, you will be charged the full fee for the session. I offer text and/or email reminders 48 hours before your appointment to help ensure adequate time to reschedule your session if needed.

  • Typical sessions last 50 minutes. I also offer the option for occasional 90-minute sessions, which can be beneficial for deeper trauma processing sessions.
